 Re: Lime sulfer
Hi Allen welcome to wee trees. There are a few from your neck of the woods who will be able to tell where you can get it. It's easy enough to get here. I'm not sure if Don has posted his formula to making lime sulphur. Have a look in how to it maybe in there.
EDIT.. just looked in how to it doesn't appear to be in there sorry. Maybe Don will add it soon???

 Re: Lime sulfer
There are plenty of bonsai retailers in US soem must stock it. You only need smal amounts so it should not be too expensive to get it delivered.
It really isn't worth trying make yourself.

 Re: Lime sulfer
I beleive that they are doing some in the dollar store at the moment that seems suitable. Greg is a member on here. I suggest you send him a pm and he can tell you the make. He is in Grants Pass, a little south but still, it's Oregon lol.

 Re: Lime sulfer
Hi, I'm about 35 miles north of you. I've used walmart brand catlitter with out issue. However, that being said, there are others who have had less luck with it. They may have changed their process, I haven't bought any this year. As for lime sulpher, I bought some last fall on ebay for about $4. No one that I know of carries the real deal around here. Don't fall for the dormant spray lime sulpher as it's not the same. Portland has a great club and you should look into it. I've heard good things about it from friends of mine in St. Helens.
