My names John and i too am a fully fledged Bonsaiholic. My preference is native, long and tall (Literati) I have an eclectic mixture of trees and pots with anything considered. I am no fan of Japanese rigidity, favouring the more free European and American approach to styling.. I have an interest in photography which goes well with bonsai

Hello all long time no see, so in case you have forgotten I was known as Dragon on Bonsai Help. I have considerably less trees now then I did back then. There have been a lot of personal problems that I was dealing with and some relocation that has contributed to the loss of so many trees. I will try to visit here often so I can start learning form all you great people again.

Hi! Some of you probably already know me from elsewhere( but under a different stupid name). I have had an active interest in all things horticultural for many years, and currently work as a gardener for my local council. I have had the bonsai bug now for 19 years( those tablets you gave me Stymie still aren't working) and have a wide collection of trees varying in degrees of progression. Although I have a wide range of different species over the last couple of years I have concentrated more on deciduous species, particularly elms( including Zekova), larch and maples |

Thought I ought to say hello too even though most of you already know me. I've been fiddling with bonsai for a long time and I've learnt alot by reading BH most days. Don't always post much as I'm not confident that I know what I'm talking about but I do try to follow the threads and chip in when I can. Let's hope this forum can be as good and better Daryl |
