Hello everyone! I'm Andy, I'm 31 from Suffolk, near Colchester. I'm a self employed internet marketer and developer, lucky enough to be more or less out of the rat race with plenty of free time to concentrate on living life and enjoying my hobbies. The newest of which is Bonsai. I have a mature Fuchsia that I am attempting to train, plus a few other potential saplings that I'm hoping will become something resembling a tree. Look forward to chatting with you all. Andy |

Hi Andy - don't know how come your post has been on for 24 hours with no replies - most unusual on this forum. Maybe it was waiting to be 'moderated' Anyway - welcome to the forum. Its a great place to learn and lucky you for having free time to spend on a new hobby. You will quickly find how addictive it is! You'll get as much help as you want on here (or maybe more) - just ask and you'll get lots of friendly answers. There is a search facility too (tab at the top of the page) which will provide some answers too. Show us your fuchsia when you can Daryl |

Many thanks guys, Yes, the post has only just appeared, I posted last night but I'm still on probation until I can be trusted not to try and sell you pills to enhance your.. Bonsai. My Fuchsia is not much to look at yet Daryl. Although it's around 7 years old it's been in the garden and dies back each year so has no decent stem to speak of. But this year I've taken it out of the garden and into an over sized pot, with some advice from Kath at Bonsai Garden I intend to keep it in my back porch over the winter to keep it from going dormant and growing the stem into a trunk with any luck. I'll grab a pic for you though if you would like to see it. Andy |

daryl wrote: PS Is that you in your avatar? (must be frustrating having to wait for your posts to be moderated while people keep asking you questions I think I can answer that one without waiting on Andy to reply. The answer will be "no" as that is Agent Smith from the matrix trilogy |
