Hi Guys,
I feel like a bit of a free-loader I've been browsing as a guest, for quite sometime, and gleaning plenty of information so thanks for that :201thumbup:
I thought it was about time I said "Hi"

So here we have it, Hi, my name is Chris and I'm and alcoh.....
Oops no, wrong forum thats Friday ...

I've been interested in Bonsai for quite a few years, in the "early days", I had quite a few failures and gave up ..
More recently, my interested has been rekindled.

I have 3 air layered cotoneasters that I am rather fond of, taken from a hedge that was in the wrong place,
before I moved it, 3 or so years ago.

A couple of small air layered field maples ( I think) taken from a tree that I grew from a seedling some 10 years ago.
( and still have)
( Air layering, the gift that keeps on giving)

And an assortment of other "bits and pieces" that I have collected over the years,
and are growing on.
Oh and of course the requite Chinese Elm, that I bought for a couple of quid ( the pot is worth far more than that )
And that is about to get a little serious attention ...

I will add, that none of these specimens by any means, they are purely for my amusement / enjoyment.

One last thing, years ago, a lecturer said to me, if you didn't waffle so much, you'd get on a lot better ...
I guess she was right.....

So I'll shut up now, and get back to browsing and reading and hopefully some of it will sink in.
Cheers all :Big Thumb:

Hi Chris.

Welcome to weetrees. Why not post some pictures of your trees and tell us your thoughts and plans. Don't worry about the quality - we all feel that way. I've found the more you know and the better you get the more your standards rise and you always feel your trees are not good enough. All hogwash of course - this is a fun hobby; we'd love to see your collection.

Weetreetrees is the friendliest forum around. If we don't know the answer, we usually know someone who does. If they don't we ask around.
You're really welcome here.
