hi folks ive lurked on here for to long so thought i would do an intro.been into trees about 5 year now after a guy came to buy some south american cichlids from me,my other hobby.he mentioned he had just sold his bonsai collection,so i started askin questions then it began!lol.hes now a great friend and mentor for my projects.his advice and explained well was a larch.if ive got my head round flickr this is my first tree.pic took last week just before i took it to newcastle for this seasons homework.

Really good larches!

You do know that there are other species available to satisfy your bonsai needs?

thanks guys.will do graham, yeah len is a great guy but havin to take it easy these days due to his health but still keeping his hand in and is a wealth of knowledge,which you already know.must admit im not really a willowbogger but travelled a lot with len mainly for tropical fish.

Nice trees.

I have similar interests that the wife wishes I’d give up some. Discus, astronomy, fishing, camping to name just a few.

Looking forward to seeing more of your trees.

cheers mark do have a nice pair of discus.im mainly into geos and a long term project of uaru ferdys.must admit i find it hard at times as i have a decent sized fishhouse at the moment im simplyfing the fish in what im keeping and think im goin more into my tree collection.
