Looking to have a venture into the world of Bonsai and not a clue where to start
. Recommended to this forum from another user. Lots to read and learn so hopefully I can keep the newbie questions to a minimum.

Hi Gary, The trees I am drawn to are Japanese Maples. I have a collection of about 12 of various ages to which one has been lined up for being made into a bonsai. Its only young but I have had the main roots exposed for a couple of years and its also been bent over to one side. No idea what I was trying to achieve with that other than to try and make it look like an old tree. Going to have a good read through the “how to” before I start posting any questions. |

They are beautiful trees and very popular as bonsai subjects. Enjoy reading up on them and when you're ready please post some pictures. |
