Does anyone know if there is a club or member on here that lives in my area pls. As I have only a small amount of materials and tool so far.
Closest dedicated bonsai nursery that I have found is herons and that's a long way from me.

Thank you for the warm welcome I am from Essex (near lakeside M25) when I work out how to put pictures up I will do (not that any of them could be considered bonsai) but here’s hoping

Just a reminder of where you live for others reading your latest post.

I haven't checked a map but Herons is not the best place for a beginner to go. Lee V's nursery is highly thought of and would be worth a visit https://www.lvbonsai.co.uk

Lee Verhorevoort Bonsai at Bexleyheath is a must

The closest clubs look like Dai-ichi at Hutton Rd, Essex or Maidstone............... http://swindon-bonsai.co.uk/2013/06/10/ ... societies/

Just zoom into your area and click on nearest dot for more info

Imgbb.com is a very straightforward way to put pictures into your posts. Upload your picture then copy the bb full link code and paste it into your message.

I use flickr. If you use it in a browser on your pc, there is a really easy way to share individual pictures. Click on the share icon (small curled arrow) and then click BCC Code. The code in that bar can be copied and pasted directly into your forum post. Befor copying it you can set the size to something like 600×800 for the best viewing size.
