Hi my names Bob and I'm 40 years old. And yes one of my favourite films ever is The Karate Kid. Since then I've always been interested in Bonsai trees but only in the last month have I decided to go for it. I bought a Chinese elm from a nursery in Southampton. She is really knowledgeable and very helpful. I then went back and bought another 3. So I now have a Chinese Elm, Redwood, Juniper and a Dwarf Trident Maple. I'm reading books and researching online. I won't be buying anymore for a while I doubt. But I wanted to buy a few to get me started. Oh and I have a fig tree indoors. Hopefully the picture will be attached if I've done it correctly. Anyway hello and I hope this is a good place to get some advice! I need it.

Welcome to the pages.
If newbies would put a rough location on their post, then it would be easier to recommend them to the nearest Bonsai Club
