[quote="Paul B [Swindon]"]Welcome to the forum The Solent club is probably your closest............... Thanks Paul ill go along on Friday. Its not far from me. Do you know if its OK to just turn up? And what happens there? Can I take a tree for advise or is it more of an exhibition? |

Bob All clubs seem to run slightly different but usually you can just turn up, introduce yourself and they should help you with any of your questions. At the Swindon club you don't have to become a members for several visits, that way you can see if you enjoy it. My contact that I deal with every time I sort out the Swindon show is Kieth Hartley but I know the members there are a friendly bunch. They have been displaying in Swindon for quite a few years. If you go to the Swindon web site and put 'Solent' in the search box there are lots of photo's on there of the members trees, don't be put off with their quality as we all had to start somewhere......... the main thing is to learn and improve your trees every year. https://swindon-bonsai.co.uk/ Let us know how you get on |
