Message from FOBBS for the above show on Sunday Cancellation of South Staffs Bonsai Society Show, 17th September Unfortunately, the above show, to have been held at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens this coming Sunday, the 17th September, has been cancelled. This is due to the Gardens once again having double booked the venue, in spite of the fact that the South Staffs Bonsai Society had confirmation of the booking as far back as last November. It was only this last May that the planned regional exhibition and trade fair “Bonsai for All” had been cancelled. On that occasion another organisation bringing forward their three week display of dinosaurs. Thus it clashed with the weekend of the bonsai event. It goes to prove that lightening can strike twice! Or is it the lure of money? I think I am being cynical. |
