Following on Brendan's garden and benches redesign, I thought I could share my own bonsai DYI. Remember those days of snow? Well, I decided to use that time wisely and, after drafting a couple of ideas, went to the local builder's merchant and got all I needed. The rest was just cutting and assembling carefully, step by step, with the occasional help of my son. At the end, it's what I'd have hoped: three shelves of different width, top one at eye level. All screws flush with the wood. Perfectly level. More than 2 metres wide and 1.90 tall. It's a stand built to last. Now "just" need a tree collection to match! |

Nice one ! I feel a bit embarrassed as i'm a carpenter with a full joinery workshop at my disposal and i have used scaffold bandstands for my latest bench

Lovely light looking bench design and a diverse collection. Lots of trees I've not seen posted on here so will look forward to seeing their threads pop up |
