Out on a ride in the Surrey hills today i noticed we passed some rather nice black pines in pots behind a fence so once home i jumped in the van and went back out there to have a proper look . It seems they are landscapers during the week and also sell plants at the weekends in this place . I hunted down the cheap stuff within 2 minutes Loads of it ! £5 £10 free if you buy some of the other cheap stuff and i had a van with me Fancy practicing some air layering image by Jason, on FlickrWillows broken out of their pots image by Jason, on Flickr image by Jason, on FlickrTwo Trident maples ( i think ) an i dunno what it is and a free pine image by Jason, on FlickrBlue alps juniper ? i found lurking in a pile of overgrowth . image by Jason, on Flickr

Thought it was a bit daft to leave it in the compost after doing so much to it so the next day i put it in a training pot after i restocked my CL supply . Then did a bit of light wiring as it was asking for a windswept look . |
