Hello, does anyone know the opening hours for the Welsh bonsai centre in Ammanford nr Swansea? Havent been up there for years, it used to be Bonllwyn garden centre.. cant find any info online

The owner is Chris Thomas, not sure that he has an opening time. and it's usually by appointment. I do know that the local clubs sometimes meet there at the weekends. I will PM you his telephone number and you can speak to him direct. I know that Chris won't be there on Sat 1st of June cause he is doing a workshop in Swindon that day |

Ok, thanks Paul...does he sell potential trees to work on? I guess I'd feel kinda weird phoning the guy up out of the blue. Maybe I'll wait till they have an open day or something... |

Yes he does. Usually has some nice larch of all ages. They hold a workshop and car boot and auction over the first weekend in Sept if you can wait that long  If you haven't already done so, check out the Dragon Bonsai Society......... they meet there DRAGON BONSAI SOCIETY SWANSEA Frequency of meetings and timings Each Sunday 10am till 4pm Location of meetings Bonllwyn Aquatic and Garden Centre, 120 Llandybie Road, Ammanford, SA18 2EE Postcode SA18 2EE Contact Gerwyn Reynolds 07734 081843 Website http://www.dragonbonsai.co.uk/ Looks like they are changing their web site again, Chris can be found at nearly all the shows and events around the country, hence why he isn't always at Ammanford |

The club meet there every Sunday unless Chris is away. They would be happy for you to turn up. There are heaps of stuff there to buy. Just ring him up go along. You won't be disappointed. |

Bought two lovely projects from him at Heathrow at very good prices . If i didn't live so far away i'd be calling him every week to see what else he has for sale
