Moss terrarium
Moss terrarium with two succulents and fennelThat poor lion is looking worse for wear.. but I thought I'd also get two small lion cubs playing on the lower moss area.

Thank you! I don't know the names of the mosses  The moss in the lower 'field' I took off the soil of one of my junipers earlier this year and kept it ready for some future purpose. The others are from various finds. I'll take some close-up pics tomorrow to see if you or anyone can identify them. |

I tried a sealed one in 2017. By 2018 it didn't look too good - most of the planting had gone mouldy. Since then, I've left the lid off, and I think a sedum is the only survivor. |

Ben M wrote: I tried a sealed one in 2017. Yeah I tried a lid on my new effort only for one night and already the next day the exposed soil had some faint white whisps of mould. There must surely be some standard way of dealing with this. perhas a very dilute spray of antimould occasionally. Anyway, I have left the lid off now.
