I have heard a number of times on here from various forum members who have lost nice pots when bonsai are knocked off or blown off display areas. My good friend and bonsai artist and ceramics potter Dan Barton has a nice video on one idea to secure your pots to the stand. I on the other hand use cheap bungee straps from Lidl, Aldi or Poundland, and the elastic doesn't damage the pots. Enjoy the video............... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFFs8Pf ... Hi I have been using a similar method for years. I use a wire with a loop as Dan does, but I use green garden wire to tie the pot to the shelf. The advantage of using wire is that it can be twisted to hold it under the shelf. This makes removal more awkward for a potential thief. Just my tuppence worth |

i use large flat pebbles to add mass |
