Do the traders accept cards at the show or do i need wheel barrows of cash? hows the parking there?

Some accept cards and I’m sure there’s a cash machine local too? As for parking it’s normally tight but ok? :smallthumb:

For the info of those attending................

I met with the Events Manager at the centre this morning, the building work won’t really affect the show. Just slightly reduced car parking. Hopefully, everything will be back to normal for next year............. as long as they don’t put the hire charges up.

The old reception area has been dismantled and is now a building site, so the Main entry to the centre on Sunday is via the Old bar doors at the right hand side of the building looking at the front of the building.

The centre have made the decision to supply tea/coffee, snacks and lunch time food from the Temp reception, [Great Idea, therefore it doesn't affect the halls, traders or the Swindon sales tables] it is located in the old bar area, which has been ripped out and re decorated. The centre will put some of the round tables in there and plenty of chairs so everyone can relax and have some munchies. That will save tea/coffee and food being slopped around in the main hall or traders hall.

Neither of the bars will be open for alcoholic drinks during the day, I am sure that everyone can manage with tea/coffee etc. for this year. If anyone wants an alcoholic drink there are several pubs nearby. The centre manager has looked at the sales from previous years and they don’t sell much anyway. Sorry it may only be for this year, and will be reviewed for the future.

When the car park is full, there is plenty of on street parking around the house estate, we just ask that visitors park sensibly and think of the home owners. It may mean a small walk to the Grange centre.

Hope everyone has a good trip to the show, I have asked for decent weather hahahaha

As soon as they supply me with the lunch time menu I will post on here.

Here is the menu for the show, unfortunately the usual choice has had to be reduced slightly due to the building works....... but I am sure that we won't starve :-)

I am not sure how he intends getting all that breakfast bap.............. into the bap. :07hysterical:
