for those of u not on face book :1crybaby:
So after what seemed like just another ordinary day I was awakened by some almighty crash at 3:40 am to find that one of my mature trees had uprooted and managed to fall over the designated bonsai area needles to say from then on I’ve been working my way through the devastation that caused and been clearing up ever since I’ve managed to salvage most of the trees and have a few casualties along the way But what hurts the most is the fact that my prized Shishigashira took the brunt of it all and to say I’m devastated is an understatement :1crybaby: :1crybaby: :1crybaby: :1crybaby:

That is extremely bad luck Will, sorry to read this. as the Cliche goes "so long as nobody was hurt".
That tree could have fallen in any direction I suppose but it came down over your prime Bonsai collection. What was mother nature thinking of... You simply couldn't write that.
Hope the clean-up goes well and you haven't lost too much to fate.
All the best
C

Blimey Will, that’s terrible luck. Hope it works out ok, but shame about the shishi.

What an awful scene :1crybaby: I can't imagine how that must feel, especially as your most prized tree took the brunt of it.

Oh no, sorry to hear that. From previous pictures that you have posted your collection was lovely and we all know how much you love those Maples. Be thankful it wasn't you standing there.

Thanks so much for your kind words makes me feel a little better as for the tree well it’s irreplaceable and I don’t think there are any around to buy that were as good as the one I had? Herons do have one but not as good https://www.herons.co.uk/SS001-Ungrafte ... onsai-Tree a little over priced me thinks :07hysterical:
