Sitting inside with the wind and rain pummelling the windows it seems we've reached that time of the year again when Autumn colour is becoming little more than a memory. The week before the current lockdown when we were all a bit unsure how much of the countryside was going to be out of bounds again I got out to see as many gardens and arboretums as I could fit in. These are just a few pics of Exbury Gardens and Winkworth Arboretum taken in the week before lockdown. Of course outdoor spaces have not been closed as they were during the first lockdown but this was a week when it was a real worry. I had felt deprived of my Spring and didn't want Autumn to go the same way.

Lovely pictures, Sputnik, thanks for sharing. And what a good idea to go out and get your fill of Autumn before we all missed it.
