I had the first one a few weeks ago, sore arm for a week and rather shivery the following day but nothing to write home about. Not when you consider the alternative.

I had both jabs then caught Covid yet again! (Second time!), I was due to have my booster but couldn't for at least a month after the Covid had gone, I had no side effects whatsoever with both the jabs but the booster hurt like crazy for a few days, the fella that administered it stuck it in my arm a lot higher than the first two shots, It was almost in my shoulder, Hope he doesn't play for a darts team as I reckon he wouldn't even hit the board!! :132doh:

I first caught Covid early in 2020 and had never heard of it, It was so bad I really thought I was going to die as I coughed so much my chest was struggling to keep working, It felt like a bus had parked on my chest!

It left my breathing really bad and I struggled to get upstairs in one go!
Second time I had it was nowhere near as bad as the first time, Same symptoms but only coughing every few minutes rather than every few seconds, Looks like the jabs came through or possibly my antibodies were ready the second time, Lost my sense of taste and smell this time, It's not returned yet :202thumbdown:

Had to pack in work as I found it really hard to walk the couple of hundred yards from the carpark to the changing rooms then the same again to my job, Luckily for me (And quite a few others!) redundancies came up so I jumped in feet first and left with a few quid!, Still had four years to go before I collect my oap but we can manage fine and i'm really happy at not having to go to the foundry any more!! :smallthumb:

Hi John

There is a lot to be said for early retirement. Some good came from covid then.

Don't think you will have more time for those little trees though, most people find that they are busier than ever after retirement.

good luck with it anyway.

Thanks Keith :201thumbup:

Strangely, I used to be always at one or the other of my sons doing stuff for them but they're not asking me now, Most of the time I have to myself, Been doing more to my trees even through winter!!

Cheers, John :Big Thumb:
