I still have about 7 privet. A great, tough, resilient, quick to grow species. |

I have four, which I have shown on the forum, and all came from a 60 year old hedge. It was only a short portion of hedge but this year I ripped it out when the new fence went up. I saved three roots that showed potential and potted them up. There was very little fine roots but they have all taken and throwing out plenty of long shoots. |
