Cheers Chris, I usually edit my posts umpteen times because of spelling mistakes (and bad grammar) i'm sure some still gets through though. I couldn't think of how to spell 'embarrass' the other day  .

Oh come on Jim ... embarress is not that hard to get right :07hysterical:

Good tip Chris; I use MFF to browse with and it's already built in.

As you know Chris I use Safari all day on the Mac. I've tried Safari on my small net-book which I use of an evening; prefer MFF though on windoze. Trouble is watching TV and typing I miss the red under-lines half the time. :132doh:

I haven't found a spellchecker on here (and nor have a lot of other people). Where is it?

I've used ie spell for years, it's quite a dated little plug-in but wouldn't be without, it embeds it's self in the right click menu so wherever you are online you can just highlight text and right click to spell check. Simple, quick, love it!

Right, I've downloaded the spell checker, now it's time to try it out..........

Bingo! :smallthumb:

(Actually I'm running on Firefox and I couldn't get iespell to work  , I've just discovered that you can add a dictionary with Firefox which underlines any words it doesn't recognise and gives you a list of words to choose from, it's probably not as good as iespell though. I've looked all over for the spell check on 'Weetrees' but can't find it, mind you, I am notoriously thick when it comes to computers, I just press all the buttons and hope for the best :D )

That's built in to FF, you can get an addon which adds more dictionaries for different languages (or English if you like U's in your words)...

Thanks Treadhead. I've only just worked out what Mike and Chris meant by MMF and IE :132doh: . I realise now that I have just repeated their very words :132doh:
