Just got back from the show and thought I would upload a few pictures I took for those of you who could not make it.

Feel free to add more photos if you took any.

Thank you for that appetiser - looking forward to the main course that will no doubt be added later.

Hope you had a good day. Did you meet up with the others in the bar?

Thanks, F - that's a good selection and shows the standard of the show. As usual I took my camera and then couldn't be arsed to take any photos as I knew there would be those more competent than I who would do so. Indeed there were several who were photographing furiously, including Paul Goff. J.

A small cutting?! She must have either been born in the eighteen-hundreds, or drinks regularly from a very large keg of Elixir!

The Lonicera I took a photo of, but I didn't get in focus. I'm so glad you posted it as I have a tree at the moment not too dissimilar to it which I'm just thickening the new trunk after the previous one died back. The tree on show was absolutely beautiful!

I've fallen in love with Zelkova brooms too and was waxing lyrical to John about them on the ride home. I have one myself which I bought from Nick Robin at BonsaiUK and was tempted by the one John bought today. Lovely bark, nice ramification, beautiful petioles, great colour!

Corin's Siberian Elm was awesome. I kept trying to go and chat with Corin but there was always a customer there.
