Did anyone download it? I'm itching to see it but can't. Talking of questions, am I the only person who gets seriously interrogated when I buy Co_Codamol (for headache) in Boots? This morning it went like this: Can I have a box of effervescent co-codamol please? Are they for you, sir? Yes. Would you describe your symptoms to me? I have a headache. Have you taken these before? Yes. You do know you shouldn't take these for more than three days? Yes. Are you on any other medication? Yes. What would that be? I mention my BP tabs, my Cholesterol tabs, my asthma remedy, my disp[ersible anti-coagulant aspirin, and my diabetes tabs (growing old is such fun - I'm making all my money back very quickly now from the NHS). Sometimes I just say 'no'. And you do know that they contain an opiate and can be addictive? Yes, I do, and I have discussed all this with my doctor. If they are addictive, why does Boots sell them? That will be £2.74 please, sir. I get 10% off Boots products now, for being 60+, so that's a saving of 31p, so it isn't all bad. Has anyone else experienced this cross-examination? J

The best bit is when the shop assistant says "you cant but two boxes of paracetamol, your only allowed to buy one box at a time" so i buy one box, and the wife who is stood beside me buys the other box !!!!!!!!!!!!! How stupid are some of these rules !! |

I get a lot of questions asked from the staff at my doctors surgery when I phone up for an appointment which annoys me. They always want to know what's wrong, so I say "it's personal ", she says " I'm sorry sir I have to put something down " to which I always reply with " the phone ", which never goes down well. I end up saying a headache everytime. I really dont like divulging private info with people I dont know. |
