All calm, dry and warm here in Somerset. Touched 24 degrees C today. Got a breeze going now though. Don't send that nasty stuff down here please although a drop of water would be good

Just watched the most spectacular hale / rain storm from my window. The main road outside our house is like a river, waterfalls down people's steps everything. Pics to follow and I'll see what damage there's been to the wee ones. Stymie - did you suffer the same? Cheers Danny B |

Thunder is rumbling away here but the rain hasn't arrived yet. Me and my trees are looking forward to it - I can't remember what rain looks like! |

i nipped down to oxford today coming back through leics the rads were flooded and terrential rain now in nottm it lightning and thundering and chucking it down it'll clear the air well and water everything at least |

I'm in North Derbyshire, not too far from Sheffield. The sky was looking a bit ominous in that direction (Sheffield way) but we only had a few spots of rain whilst the sun still shone. We could really do with some rain here though, I've been putting off planting seeds on the allotment because it's so hot and dry at the moment. |
