:200unsure: Hi all, I was wondering if it would be possible to have a when to section, in the how to section, Starting with the more common trees used for bonsai, when to dig up the tree, when is best time to repot, when to prune, what is best soil for said tree, what & when to feed, if this could be done it could be a good reference to keep going to for when you are about to do anything to your trees, I hope so as my memory isnt what it used to be, I would certainly use it.

Post subject:  Re: When to

Hello Frits, I vaguely remember this being considered before but the conclusion was that it would be very difficult as people on here live in many different time and seasonal zones. Even within the UK people are experiencing very different arrival times for new spring growth so it would be hard to give accurate advice that applies to everyone.

Thanks Daryl, I posted it as I have a terrible memory & something like that would help me no end, something to reference, I never thought about it like you put it, since wee trees is global I suppose it would be difficult to cover every where in the world, wondered if we could start a British section first, then move to the next most popular membership country, maybe to much hassle, but would be good.

i think its a good idea.

It doenst have to be time specific in the section in general you can explain about using tree as a reference

i.e just before buds burst is an appropraite time to repot and root prune as all stored energy from roots has been released.
