Post subject: | Value of Bonsai Material |
A recent topic has made me wonder on how Forum members and bonsai enthusiast in general go about putting a value / price on trees and material, both when buying and selling. I have taken some pictures of bonsai material I have standing around the garden at the moment and would like you to give me a valuation and a short explanation as to how you have arrived at this value. BTW, "I have seen a similar one at xxxx bonsai nursery/internet/club auction" is a valid reason for valuation. Please PM me with your valuation and reason, rather than posting as a reply. This will prevent individuals being lead by other replies. I will collate and post the result in a week or when I have a reasonable amount of replies. There are five trees, all in different stages of development. |

Why dont you make it interesting. Say the nearest total price of all 5 trees gets the tree of his choice!!!! |

Just a quick note. Make your valuation based on YOUR criteria. I will not be offended if you value them at nothing and comment "only good for the bonfire". I am just interested on how you arrive at valuing trees and material. |
