The first I think is Lonicera Nitida which is ideal, the second is Sycamore. |

The flowers aren't really much to shout about but hedge honeysuckle is ideal for beginners - it grows fast, small leaves, backbuds well and has an attractive bark colour. Does it have a trunk or is it just a bunch of stems? A pic of the base of the honeysuckle would be good. |

The honeysuckle seems to have a decent trunk but the berberis you may as well leave for now til it beefs up. Wait till mid February before you do anything though. |
