Hi all, Some white stuff has appeared around the buds of some branches. There was a fair amount of sap bleed when I pinched the candles a few months ago. So I'm wondering is it a fungus or possibly an effect from the sap hardening? Any ideas? https://www.flickr.com/gp/133557010@N04/BT9468 |

Looks like sap that's hardened around the cut areas. Nothing to worry about as its a natural defence mechanism for the tree if its been wounded. |

Its when this years needles start turning brown and all falling off when you need to start worrying. Yours looks healthy, a nice bluey green colour there. |
