Did it get too dry in all the hot weather we had?

Mine are not looking at their best. The leaves also started to shrivel but I caught them in time and new shoots are appearing.

I had similar problems with mine. I now keep it in a more shaded area and it's doing better. I also keep it well watered.

Yeah, it's possible that it did get too dry in hot weather. I was a bit spoiled by lockdown working from home, and being able to check them three times a day on hot days. Occasionally things got in the way of that

I managed to get hold of one ....eventually.....£3.99 end of season reduced.
Probably not the best specimen in the world (its been chopped about the stump at some point) but something to work at.

Looks like maybe it has potential, hard to see from that angle, better to get photos at trunk level looking straight on
