Hi all I had these two trees given by a friend a few years ago, , Around two years ago another friend wanted to have a go at Bonsai so I repotted these two and gave them to him.. The larger one will most likely be too difficult as I don't think I have a pic with it in leaf, Also, There's a Rhododendron immediately behind it!! The other one has dark red leaves and fruits similar to Haws.. I repotted this one in to a pot that he had bought, It was a lovely round High fired pot but not actually a Bonsai pot as it had no feet!, He'd put it on feet so that it doesn't hold water and stay overly wet, It stands around three and a half feet high and is around four inches thick at the base of the trunk.. ![]() This is the other.. ![]() The fruit. ![]() Would anyone have any idea so that I can tell him what his trees are? Cheers, John

Number 2 is a variety of crab apple I think, maybe ‘Royalty’. |
