Note the location of the petiolar gland.

Link below has a lot of description for ID.

It's found on Rarotonga it seems, that was the key to finding it.

When I first saw it I thought it was the same type of tree we had in our garden in South Africa, but I dismissed the idea as that was an invasive species and I doubted it would have made it to weetrees. But the research into Falcataria moluccana confirms it was the self same tree species.

Given I was about 8 years old when I last climbed that tree I am pretty impressed with my memory. Why therefore can't I find the car keys that I used yesterday morning?

Poor old man. :061haha: Finding the car keys seems to be a daily problem for me. :1crybaby: I'm getting to the point where I'm grateful I can still remember my name.

Brendan, I'm afraid things are lightly to get much worse yet, my dad went out in his Jag one morning then walked back home forgetting were he put the car! A fortnight later I drove into our local garden centre and there it was parked in the car park. A few weeks after he went round a motorway island the wrong way scraping his and what must have been someone else's red car. Shortly after that I made sure the car wouldn't work.: ::lol: He never drove it again. ;-)

They look really good, Rod.
Since they are not mimosa I think I'll have a look for these here. (Mimosa sales are strictly banned in Madrid province/community because it is such an invasive species.)
