Has anyone on here grown, or has that variety as a bonsai. I have spotted one today in a garden centre with a great root flare and good trunk movement. I have done a search on the net and found no bonsai images, which usually points to stay away from them.

Haven't seen one before, but looks like a decent cultivar actually. Probably treat it like a Deshojo which it resembles. If the graft is OK and the price is right, no reason not to go for it.

I agree.

It looks like a nice compact cultivar.

I would be tempted especially if the base looks good

Oh, dear........I had purchased it about an hour before your post. I looked online yesterday and it said they have a slight colour change in spring and summer. This is the only green one I have so I am not too bothered. I have others that will give me more colour changes with the seasons.

Here it is....

Can’t see much wrong with that myself Keith. Lovely Nebari. Near invisible graft line . Just need to get some backbudding and increased ramification should give you a smaller leaf and shorter internodes.
