Hi Ben. My first thought is that very few pot makers would have a kiln large enough plus a silly price. Could you get a slate base and build a wall from slate garden chips using a black silicone type sealant as adhesive ? |

Thank you Richard, TBH This is not the look I am hoping to go for but you know, if that's the only reasonable choice... If it comes to that, I will be asking a lot more questions on how to from where to buy such a large slate to how to drill and prepare the walls |

You've seen my beech forest. Steve at chinamist made the slab. Something like that would also work well for yours I think. For a forest group which can represent a larger piece of terrain I think a landscape look is helpful - gentle undulation and an understated pot side (a slab!) |
