So many deciduous bonsai look so much better naked. The leaves often totally obscure the structure underneath. I don't have any old enough to defoliate. Though I do have a fig that I did. Earlier. |

I tend to thin out all the leaves at the top of the trees. Not strictly naked.. maybe you could call it topless?? |
