It's a lovely shape. What species is it? Juniper? Cypress?

 I partly asked because I have one that looks very similar and no one is too sure what mine is either ::dunno:

I'm interested to hear what the re-potting advice is. Any particular reason that you want to do it now? It looks very healthy.

Ive been taught to repot when the tree needs repotting . This can be at any time of the year .

My first concern is always "Do it look healthy?". Then, only, is it the right time. I think the latter matters less. But I'll let hinoki cypress ,chamecgroris obtuusa experts to answer for your specie.

My other reason for the question is that I know it looks healthy but I've notice the growth hasn't been as vigorus this yr and reckon it could do with a root prune
Has any body re-potted one at this time b4?
