Hi Sputnik and Oakrod, how much of a tiny root do you have to see before you tranfer to a pot? I have a load of Pyrenean oak acorns in the fridge, anda few have started pushing out tiniest roots, less than a millimetre. Do you pot them already or would you wait another week? Or doesn't it matter?

I have never cold stratified any oaks. They seem to germinate readily from fresh.
