Just wondering about the use of a sealant?I was watching a Heron's Bonsai vid as he was working on some beech shrubs v similar to mine and he said yes but others say no.I have some of my old dad's beeswax.Any pointers? Cheers |

Hi Beech bleeds a lot, so it is a good idea to seal wounds. The same goes for maple. If you do not seal the wounds the branch may die, or the wound would allow disease in. |

Hi Any will do, you can also use vaseline but you will need to keep replacing it. |
