Post subject:  Juniper progression/work at the weekend
Hi everyone,

Over the weekend I did some wiring work on a nursery juniper I bought last year. I'm going carve the jins and create a shari down the front of the trunk, and I think I need to move the foliage closer to the trunk.

Any constructive criticism and tips or suggestions for future development very welcome.

Second working was too soon. First working was aggressive, the tree has pushed juvenile foliage. Mature foliage will return in time, but you need to leave it to recover now
