I don't know why I bought this really. I knew hazel have large leaves and aren't really ideal, but it was reduced, and as usual, I was attracted to the red leaves
. I had to chop it in half to get it in the car, then picked a new top. I worked it quite hard, and only two years later I plonked it into a large plastic bonsai pot I had, and I feel like the leaves aren't too far off scale. I don't know if it's really worth developing it further, but I think I need to keep sharing what I've been doing so I can get some feedback, and learn from it. I know I need to wire my trees much more. Hopefully with some gentle refinement in future years it'll look better anyway
