I have found the plastic ones that Daryl uses tend to rust up solid if left outside for any length of time, possibly need checking and lubricating regularly |

I give mine a squirt of WD40 from time to time. The tiny bit of red tube that comes with the aerosol is perfect for aiming the squirt between the two layers. I've never had one seize up but I'm sure there are lots of different qualities on the market. Maybe I just got lucky

I've been lucky as well then. Mine has had no love for 5 years and still works perfectly. |

I have found that the plastic ones don't seize up so quickly if you drill extra holes in the bottom so that moisture can escape easier. Plus a good squirt of WD40 or similar |
