Last year I bought a cheap little Azalea from Morrison's which produced a few flowers earlier this year. Then in July it dropped it's leaves, possibly because I let the soil dry out, now over the past week it's started to bud lots of new small leaves, does this sound like normal behaviour? |

Thanks Keith, I think I'll over winter it in a cold frame, do I keep feeding it whilst the buds are still growing, and will they keep growing right through winter? |

Hi, remove flowers and the flower buds on a weak / recovering azelea, they look nice but they might be taking the energy from root development and leaves. I've had two azaleas die on me, both times after a healthy looking flower display. |

There was only one bud so I had to go for the all or nothing approach. |
