| Post subject: | problem with Satsuki leaves. |
I have 3 Satsuki Bonsai that have a problem with there leaves.They start to turn brown ,at there tips,turn brown all over then they are hanging from the branches.Has anyone had this on there trees.Have never had it before. |

Don’t worry, that’s quite normal in an azalea assuming that you are only talking about a few leaves at a time. Because they are evergreen they shed their old leaves gradually throughout the year so there can be a few older ones falling at any time. |

Thanks Daryl,I know that Satsuki drop leaves but they are hanging from the branches by what seems to be a very thin thread.Never ever seen this before. |

Can you post photos please? It may be that the recent extreme heat in UK caused the leaves to scorch and die but without the normal abscission layer forming, they just hang on the plant? |

Sounds like drought damage, not autumn shedding. Without pictures, this question cannot be answered. |
