Post subject:  Securing forest groups into a pot

I'm in the process of creating my first forest group planting, I'm looking at maybe seven or nine Alberta Spruce.
Can anyone please share their methods of securing a large number of trees into a pot without having to resort to drilling a large number of holes in the pot? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Assembling groups is fiddly. Wire wooden chop sticks together into a grid so that it fits across the bottom of the pot. Wire the grid securely to the bottom of your pot through the holes in the pot. Wire the trees roots to the grid.

That's brilliant, thanks for the link Jay. I have a subscription for Terry Erasmus's YT channel and can't believe I've missed this one.

A network of wires connected to each tree can give a lot of stability until the roots grow out and settle.
