Does anyone still know a supplier for Bonsai- suitable catlitter? It seems like all the brands I used have now disappeared from sale. Tescos Pink, Sanicat Pink and now Kittyfriend Pink all appear to have been withdrawn -Does anyone know why? My last order in July 2022 was for Kittyfriend Pink Absorbent Cat Litter 30 Litre Price: £15.99 plus £3.95 delivery but Ive now run out and cant find anywere selling it! Is someone hoarding it ?! |

HAHA!! yes I also use it but its getting too expensive especially for potting large numbers of starter trees, hence Im looking for more economic alternatives . Im also thinking of trialling crushed bricks- have you tried that? |

Thankyou John for suggesting these 2 suppliers. I checked but unfortunately neither of them deliver, and for me it would be a 250 mile round trip to collect so unfortunately I will have to keep looking! |

I bought a large bag of Sanicat Pink a couple of years ago and it is about to run out. See these posts I called into the local pet shop where I purchased it and asked if it was possible to get more. The answer was a NO. They had no reason why. A few years back it was possible to get a Tesco low dust little which was molar clay but a finer grain and perfect for mixing with smaller trees. The last bag I bought of that, the grains were the same size as Sanicat but alas that product is no longer. |

Ive just run out of the Sanicat pink I ordered online last year . All my trees seem to thrive in it. Has anyone found a UK equivalent of the NAPA Oil dry/ Diatomaceous Earth Oil Absorb which seem to be used in USA by bonsai folk ? Attachment: Screenshot 2023-03-25 060339.png Its looking like I may have to fork out for more overpriced Akadama! GRRRR |
