Hi all could anyone tell be the best time to repot Chinese junipers.I have one in a plastic plant pot that I want to put in a Bonsai pot. :?:

Don't worry Mark, Corin is just one of those people who overuses smilies.

Junipers are pretty tolerant of when they are repotted. Corin repots them at all times of year at demos. Because they will tolerate it when other trees won't. So you might as well do it sooner then later.

Hi Mark, i removed a big juniper (featured on this web site) two years ago 31-12-08 & i gave it some stick & it survived & its doing well so i think a re-pot wont harm your tree.

I have some slow release pellets at home would these be any good?It says on the back that their good for hanging baskets.If not could you recomend some slow release food?

Hi Don
It does say on the back of the pack about "Minor nutrients & trace elements,Magnesium,Iron,copper and Boron"But I couldnt get the camera to focus :132doh: Does this sound right?
