So after the great drought that my trees experienced, I've been working hard to try to help them recover. It only just occurred to me, however, that the wire I had placed on the acacia in July are still there.
Is the wire ok where it is while the tree recovers? It hasn't shown any new growth yet, but it's passed the scratch test a couple of times now. I'm hoping it'll last until Spring when I can get it outside. Anyways, should I leave the wire on? Take it off to help the tree recover? Is taking it off going to be more stressful to the tree?
