Does anyone else have a fight on their hands with a washing line. The only place it can go in our garden is right in front of my trees. I come home from work sometimes cursing her indoors as the washing is caught up in a tree or flapping into a branch. I had it last year so i decided to make a (tree) stand elsewhere in the garden. So some of the trees have gone from South facing to East facing they will still get the sun till around four in the summer apart from the ones right up against the fence i'll have to move them around so they all get a go in the shade.

That's my biggest worry at the moment, so thing aren't that bad really. Saying that the winter heating bill will be upon me soon :120ranting:

Put the decidous and more sun tender plants on the east side. It'll protect them during the hottest part of the day. I think you'll find it to be a good development.
