What did you want help with? Just repotting? I wouldnt root prune, Id gently remove the soil with a water jet or chopstick and plate it in some well draining soil then leave it in the shade for a few weeks. I really wouldnt disturb the roots too much at this time of year.

Thats just what I would do though theres alot more experienced people on here that may disagree with me

Do you think it will survive

it has only got two choices. ::dunno:
All you can do is give it as much tlc as you can. As Arihato says, keep it out of full sun and wind and hope for the best.

Juniperus x Media Mint Julep? Plant into a big container with as much of the original roots as possible. Also, keep as much foliage as possible, keep moist, and mist daily.

Some also used Spaggy moss round the outer roots, which is supposed to have a tonic effect.

Lovely trunk movement if it survives.

I agree with others.....KEEP the root ball as it is and plant into something bigger with something that will drain well. As Nick says you could bung in some moss. Put it into shade and jest keep damp......not too wet and not dry.

Then its in the hands of the Gods, as with any tree really. You did the right thing in digging it with a nice big root ball

Fingers crossed.
