I had a fukien tea tree about 2 years ago and it slowly and painfully died. (Some of you may remember my agonising posts and pics.) I did however take a cutting from it and that survived. Today i will show u that cutting and this leads me on to why i am so scared.
I generally mixed up some soil and some stones and threw the cutting in the pot. Bought another bonsai and forgot about the cutting. It didit grow for a while, i was distracted with other stuff and didnt really water, fertilise or prune it. All the dead leaves went into its pot and it sat there, didnt grow an inch and then flowered like every day was summer.
Then it started to grow, i pruned it and its looking the healthiest its ever looked right now.
I havent a clue why, but after trying so hard with its fore father, to be honest its pissing me off!
Now im wondering if i shud pot it up or start fertilising it or prune it more??
Anyone shed some light? Thsi thing hasnt been fertilised in about a year.
