| Post subject: | bonsai newby needs help |
hi all another newby here and looking for some advice on what this bonsai is and also any advice on what i should do with it as in pruning when looking it looks as if the branches has dense twigs some look dead to me what would you do with this tree any advice is greatly appreciated here is a direct link o my photos that are on photobucket http://s1180.photobucket.com/albums/x412/crasher5911/ |

It is a chinese ligustrum. Keep it near a window. water it more. If you get any extention growth once you have 3 pairs of leaves on a new shoot reduce it to jsut one pair. If it picks up in a month remove any completely bare shoots (If it has been growing healthily and pruned it could well have leafed out on some of the bare parts given a month) |
